This must be the worst example of  “not right now” we have ever seen, not to mention the negative perception that will follow.  The state of Utah in the wake of the shooting of Representative Giffords has decided to put forth legislation to make a pistol the state symbol.  Not only is it a bad idea to have a gun as your state symbol as this would only promote a negative and violent image, but we are living in a day and age where politics has gone far beyond the realm of civil debate.  Should we be promoting violent images as the beckon for a state in this union or should we try to calm the seemingly exposed nerves of those citizens who have been angry ever since the first African-American family called the “Whitehouse” home???

Once again we have a republican representative displaying blatant negative behavior and comments towards our president and this during the State of the Union.  Now the article that follows states that this cannot be viewed as disrespectful, but we here at H.I.P differ in opinion because as a member of Congress he should have been in attendance for the address and not in his office writing negative tweets.  Please click the link below:
